  1. Substance Cabernet Sauvignon

    2019 / 750 ml. | Item#56154

    JD9292 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 5/6/2021
Juicy blue fruits, leafy tobacco, violets, and orange blossom notes all emerge from the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Cs and it’s medium to full-bodied, has a beautifully balanced, fruit-forward style, no hard edges, and a great finish. It’s no simple fruit bomb and has notable structure, ripe tannins, and outstanding length. It reminds me of a top Cru Bourgeois from Bordeaux and represents a stunning value. Drink it over the coming 7–8 years. (Jeb Dunnuck)
    JS9292 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Monday, July 12, 2021
Currants, flowers and walnuts on the nose. Medium-bodied with a pretty core of fruit and fine tannins and a crisp finish. Lead pencil. Fresh. Compact. Delicate and delicious. Enjoy. Drink or hold.

  2. Altos Las Hormigas Malbec Terroir Valle de Uco

    2018 / 750 ml. | Item#53961

    RP9292 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 31st Oct 2019
The 2018 Malbec Terroir Valle de Uco has great brightness of fruit and much more freshness than the one from Luján that I tasted next to it. It’s expressive, aromatic and more elegant, with refined tannins and a silkier mouthfeel. There is a special brightness here.
    VN9292 pts. - Vinous - Nov 2021
The 2018 MalbecTerroir comes from La Consulta and Tupungato, Uco Valley and was 25% aged in foudres. Purple in color. The reductive nose delivers herbs and violets with tightly packed but clear blackberry and plum aromas. In the mouth, things are a little different. Juicy and flavorful, the expansive flow brings grip and chalky tannins with a degree of linearity that stretches out the finish. A Malbec for modern palates.
    JS9090 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Thursday, April 8, 2021
Ripe-plum, cherry, vanilla and lemon-zest aromas. It’s medium-bodied with fine tannins and a succulent, fresh finish. Drink now.

  4. Château de Pitray Premier Vin

    2018 / 750 ml. | Item#56926

    WE9191 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 3/1/2021
This grand chateau on its hillside surveys a 150-acre vineyard. The top wine from the estate, this is mainly wood aged, giving polish as well as perfumed black-currant fruitiness. With its ripe tannins, the wine will easily age. Drink from 2023. (Roger Voss)
    RP90+90–92 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 23rd Apr 2019
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2018 Pitray features bright, expressive wild blueberries, black raspberries and warm plums scents with hints of spice cake and potpourri. Full-bodied, the palate is laden with juicy blue and black fruits, framed by plush tannins and just enough freshness, finishing with beautiful purity. (Lisa Perrotti-Brown)
    JS9090 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Wednesday, March 3, 2021
A juicy, flavorful red that is delicious now, offering plum, chocolate and berry aromas and flavors. Medium body, firm tannins and a savory finish. Nice acidity, too. Drink or hold.

    2020 / 750 ml. | Item#56547

    RP9292 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 19th Aug 2021
The 2020 Beaujolais-Villages Le Perréon is another fine success, wafting from the glass with beautifully pure aromas of cherries, raspberries, plums and peonies. Medium to full-bodied, ample and succulent, with supple tannins and an enveloping core of juicy fruit, it’s refreshing and gourmand. This head-turning bistro red is already drinking well.

  8. Novellum Chardonnay

    2020 / 750 ml. | Item#55436

    JD9494 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 3/22/2021
A richer styled wine (I’ve compared this cuvée to a Chardonnay from Mark Aubert), the 2020 Novellum has a medium gold hue as well as a rich, powerful bouquet of caramelized lemon, honeyed almonds, candle wax, and toasted bread. Rich, medium to full-bodied, beautifully textured, and balanced, this is another no brainer purchase. (Jeb Dunnuck)

    2020 / 750 ml. | Item#57999

    JD9191 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 11/8/2021
A year-in, year-out smoking value, the 2020 Côtes du Rhône Les Becs Fins offers a vivid purple hue as well as a great, classic Côtes du Rhône nose of peppery black cherry and framboise fruits, garrigue, spice box, licorice, and even a hint of violets. Soft, medium-bodied, fruit-driven, yet wonderfully pure and far from a simple red, it’s going to put a smile on your face over the coming 3–5 years. (Jeb Dunnuck)

    SP9090 pts. - Wine Spectator - Oct 31, 2022
Offers fine depth to the cherry, plum and woodsy aromas, with iron, tobacco and herb flavors. Shows solid structure and lingers nicely on the finish. Drink now through 2027. 450,000 cases made, 15,000 cases imported. (Bruce Sanderson)

  13. Martini & Rossi Extra Dry Vermouth

    NV / 1.5 L. | Item#50427

    WE9393 pts. - Wine Enthusiast -
This almost colorless vermouth holds a sweet, sugar-candy nose. The body is medium, and the palate, surprisingly enough, very, very dry with faint, but pleasing, herbal notes. The finish is very dry with notes of herbs and fruits.

    WE90+90–95 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/31/2002
Sunset-orange color. Savory bouquet is ripe and fruity through all sniffings. The stunningly elegant flavors marry ripe pear, roasted almond and apricot scents to cheese-like rancio. Finishes firmly and long. An opulent, plump style.
