  2. Gramercy Cellars Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

    2017 / 750 ml. | Item#59948

    RP93+93+ pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 22nd Oct 2020
Dark ruby with soft purple highlights, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon has an impactful and precise nose of juicy plum, dark cherry and blackberry essence that waft with elegant French oak tones of vanilla, cinnamon and cardamom. Medium to full-bodied, the wine has a succulent mouthfeel with oak flavors that bind effortlessly to juicy, plump and dark blackberry essence with subtle flavors of dried herbs and bitter dark chocolate. With a long, drawn-out finish, the wine displays all of its complexities as it lingers on the palate with persistence and a tannic grip. This wine is about layers and texture. Give it a try! (Anthony Mueller)
    WE9292 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/1/2020
Fresh herb and flower aromas are out front, followed by notes of spice and plum. The palate is layered and restrained, with plenty of acidity and tannic structure supporting it all. It’s far from a big bruiser, but this is serious Cabernet, with impeccable balance. (Sean P. Sullivan)
    VN9191 pts. - Vinous - Dec 2020
Full, dark red. Cool aromas of redcurrant, tobacco leaf, licorice, black pepper and menthol. Very suave and smooth on entry, then pure but reticent in the middle palate, conveying subtle salinity to the flavors of dark berries, soil, graphite and licorice. No easy sweetness here! This classically dry, Old World-style Cabernet is still a bit cool and laid-back but should evolve gracefully. Finishes with firm but fine-grained tannins and subtle savory grip. But not quite the depth for an even higher rating. (Stephen Tanzer)
    WS9191 pts. - Wine & Spirits - 12/20
For this wine, Greg Harrington and Brandon Moss blend fruit from sources such as Phinny Hill and Dionysus with grapes from their estate vineyards. All about structure at the moment, this is very firm with a tannic spine. It needs time to get beyond its initial notes of violets and sealing wax and reveal the dark fruit within. Cellar.

This stylish white has a gewurz-like spice along with flavors of ripe pineapple and guava. An herbaceous celery-leaf herbal note keeps the wine focused and the finish lean.
    WE8787 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 9/1/2022
Nestea Lemon Iced Tea aromas are out front, followed by flower and ripe peach. Medium-sweet stone-fruit and lime flavors follow. There is much to enjoy. (Sean P. Sullivan)

This is no “baby.” This bold, rich Cabernet Sauvignon-driven blend has grown-up elegance, from its aromas of dewberries, dark raspberries, saline and rose petals, to its Mikhail Baryshnikov-like balance. In between, look for flavors like blackberry fruit jellies, thyme and dark chocolate. (Michael Alberty)

    2020 / 750 ml. | Item#44604

    WE8989 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/31/2022
Cabernet Sauvignon plus a small percentage of Merlot and Syrah adds up to a big “bang for the buck” experience. Black-cherry, dark-chocolate and orange aromas are flanked by wee bits of well-worn leather and roasted red bell pepper. The wine has grippy tannins and soft acidity to match up with gobs of blackcap-raspberry and blueberry flavors. Little touches of cedar and mocha powder add interest. (Michael Alberty)
    WS8888 pts. - Wine & Spirits - 12/22
Dark and woolly with black-cherry and tobacco flavors and modest wood notes, this is generous and complex for its price.

    2017 / 750 ml. | Item#55513

    RP91+91+ pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 22nd Oct 2020
Dark ruby, the 2017 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has a bold and structured nose with layers of complex aromas of juicy cherry, blackberry, dusty plum, dried herbs, bitter dark chocolate and soft herbaceous green notes. Medium to full-bodied, the wine is full in flavor, displaying a balanced structure that gives pleasure with qualities of spiced black cherry, dusty plum skin and soft mocha expressions that continue to evolve on the persistent, elongated finish. Give this delicious and succulent wine a try.
    VN9191 pts. - Vinous - Dec 2020
Bright ruby-red. Complex scents of black cherry, currant, menthol, mocha, licorice and peppery herbs, plus a whiff of tobacco leaf; displays a stronger herbal element than the 2016. Plush, silky and easygoing on entry, then very ripe in the middle, with a suggestion of almost liqueur-like mocha/chocolate ripeness. Finishes with broad, serious, refined tannins that dust the palate and build quickly with air. This is softer than the 2016 but without quite that wine’s finesse and light touch. A very chocolatey-rich, dense wine with restrained sweetness and good savory character. Serious concentration.

  13. Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling

    2021 / 750 ml. | Item#99309

    SP8888 pts. - Wine Spectator - Web only – 2022
Sleek and steely, with vibrant lime, kiwifruit and grapefruit flavors that finish with snap. Drink now. 735,000 cases made. (Tim Fish)
    WE8888 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 9/1/2022
Aromas of fresh peach and flower lead to stone-fruit flavors that are well balanced. The concentration is lighter than the aromas might suggest, though it’s lovely. (Sean P. Sullivan)
    WS8888 pts. - Wine & Spirits - 06/22
Chateau Ste. Michelle makes the best bang-for-buck riesling out there, period. This one leads with complex scents of celery and passion fruit, along with a candied peach note. It’s off-dry with a thrust of sweetness that’s broad and appealing.

  15. Andrew Will Ciel du Cheval Vineyard

    2011 / 750 ml. | Item#40514

    ST93+93+? pts. - Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar - Nov/Dec 2014
Bright red-ruby. Sexy aromas of blackberry, violet and licorice, along with a musky soil-driven nuance. Rich, thick and sweet; wonderfully plush and seamless for a Bordeaux blend from this cool year, with a texture of liquid silk. Already very showy, this superb wine’s serious building tannins promise a slow evolution in bottle. A great expression of this outstanding vineyard, and seemingly even richer in the early going than the superb 2010 was a year ago.
    RP9393 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 25th Jun 2014
One of the top wines in the vintage, the 2011 Ciel du Cheval Vineyard (52% Cabernet Franc and 48% Merlot that spent 21 months in 35% new French oak) offers thrilling amounts of fruit and texture, with full-bodied richness, excellent mid-palate depth and sweet tannin. Loaded with both red and black currant fruit, dried flowers, damp earth and hints of meatiness, it can be consumed anytime over the coming 10–12 years.
