  1. 2012 Charles & Charles Red: A blend to drive away the winter blues

    Now is when I dislike winter the most. Mid to late February is the dulldrums of the season. The holidays are long over, there aren’t any coming down the pike for some time, and cold weather seems endless. Well friends, you just have to find little pleasures to get you through until the snow goes away and the trees start budding. For me, a new wine to try helps considerably. My latest find is actually a new vintage of a wine we’ve carried for some time. The Charles & Charles Red blend from Washington is still a great bargain for the sale price of $9.99.

  2. Alhambra Reserva 2012: A Beauty of a Blend

    Recently we acquired the 2012 Alhambra Reserva. Having been a long time fan and advocate of the Alhambra Malbec, I was very eager to taste this new wine. I found it to not only live up to the high points I gave the Malbec, I believe it may have surpassed it.
