ST9292 pts. - Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar - Nov/Dec 2012 Light yellow. Candied citrus fruits, white flowers and chalky minerals on the fragrant nose. Juicy, penetrating and pure, offering lively orange and lemon zest flavors with suggestions of honeysuckle and ginger. Shows a strong mineral quality on the penetrating finish, which features a hint of toasted almond. The bottling that I reviewed last year had no disgorgement date on the back label but this one does.SP9191 pts. - Wine Spectator - Dec 15, 2011 An open-knit texture is focused by firm acidity while rich notes of leesy bread dough and smoky roast nut add depth to flavors of kumquat, tangy apple, white peach and lemon peel, with an aromatic finish. Disgorged January 2010. Drink now through 2019. 1,500 cases made.
VN9393 pts. - Vinous - Nov 2018 Agrapart’s NV Brut 7 Crus is simply gorgeous. Rich, creamy and inviting, the 7 Crus hits all the right notes. The 7 Crus doesn’t quite have the focus or energy of the top wines here, but it is incredibly delicious, approachable and relatively easy to find. This may very well be the finest release of the 7 Crus I have ever tasted since this cuvée debuted a few years ago. The 7 Crus is 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir. This release is equal parts 2015 and 2014. Don’t miss it! Dosage is 7 grams per liter. Disgorged: May 2018. (Antonio Galloni)

VN9393 pts. - Vinous - Nov 2021 The NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Terroirs Grand Cru is bright, punchy and full of the tension that is such an Agrapart signature. Grapefruit, mint, white pepper and crushed rocks all lend quite a bit of brilliance to this striking, sculpted Champagne. The balance and purity here is unreal, especially at this price point. The Terroirs is the hidden gem in the Agrapart range this year. Don’t miss it. Dosage is 5 grams per liter. Disgorged: May, 2021. (Antonio Galloni)
VN9292 pts. - Vinous - Dec 2012 Vivid orange-pink. Aromas and flavors of ripe red berries, candied rose and toasty lees. Fleshy but nervy and focused, with strong mineral cut and hints of bitter herbs on the very long, energetic finish. Smoothly blends richness and vivacity, making it extremely flexible with food or without.ST9292 pts. - Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar - Nov/Dec 2012 Vivid orange-pink. RP9090 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 30th Oct 2011 Unfortunately I was only able to taste one new release from Andre Clouet this year. The NV Brut Grande Reserve emerges from the glass with layers of hazelnut, pear, spice and dried flower aromas. This rich, creamy wine impresses for its balance and sheer richness. I loved it. This is Lot L06. Anticipated maturity: 2011–2014.VN9090 pts. - Vinous - Dec 2011 The NV Brut Grande Réserve emerges from the glass with layers of hazelnut, pear, spice and dried flower aromas. RP93+93+ pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 22nd Dec 2010 The NV Grand Cru Cuvee 1911 emerges from the glass with the most haunting of perfumes. Sweet rose petal and jasmine are some of the nuances that emerge over time. Despite recent disgorgement, the purity of the fruit and the extraordinary elegance of the mousse are hard to miss. This is an exceptional, elegant version of the 1911 that should drink beautifully for years to come. The bottle I tasted needed quite a bit of air to open up, so readers should be patient with the wine at this stage. The current release of the 1911 is 100% Pinot Noir, 50% 2002 vintage and 50% a solera blend that dates back to 1998. This is Lot L05, disgorged October 4, 2010 and bottled with dosage of 6 grams per liter. Anticipated maturity: 2012–2020.WS9393 pts. - Wine & Spirits - December 1, 2010 While showing more fruit girth than most Champagnes, this also has the austere mineral acidity to sculpt it into fine proportion and fantastic, weightless length. Its pinot flavors come through in floral apricot and juicy peach, both powerful and harmonious. For Nantucket Bay scallops or belly tuna sashimi.
VN9292 pts. - Vinous - Dec 2017 The NV Brut is a gorgeous entry-level offering. The flavors are brisk and finely cut in this chiseled, crystalline Champagne from the Aubry brothers. Pear, green apple, lemon oil and white flowers add to an overall impression of brightness and tension. Aubry’s straight NV Brut is once again one of the very finest wines in its peer group. I rarely miss a chance to drink it. The current release is a blend of 50% 2014 and 50% reserve wines, with a bit more Meunier in the blend than is the norm. Disgorged: June 2017. Dosage is 6 grams per liter.SP9090 pts. - Wine Spectator - Nov 30, 2017 A firm, clean-cut Champagne, with a satinlike mousse that carries finely meshed notes of apple blossom, anise, poached pear and fleur de sel. A hint of almond shows on the finish. Disgorged January 2016. Drink now through 2019. 1,200 cases imported.ST8888 pts. - Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar - Nov/Dec 2005 Very pale copper. Smoky, nutty and deep on the nose, with scents of ripe apple, toffee and tarragon. Deep, earthy and rich (this features 60% meunier and 20% pinot noir) but lively on the palate, the apple and sweet toffee notes repeating. Long, full and nicely hefty on the finish.WS8888 pts. - Wine & Spirits - December 1, 2007 Scents of hazelnuts and almonds carry the toasty savor of this wine, knit into a broad richness that feels sweet in the middle, dry in the end. It’s soft and simple. For nut-crusted salmon.
WE9494 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/1/2013 Such an elegant, ethereal wine, this orange-pink wine is dry and crisp with fruity raspberry flavor at the fore. This particular bottling could improve for a year, but makes a great food Champagne now.SP9393 pts. - Wine Spectator - Nov 15, 2016 A lovely rosé in an almost vinous style, with mouthwatering acidity and a fine, lacy mousse carrying appealing flavors of ripe raspberry, white cherry fruit, star anise, mandarin orange peel and honeysuckle. Lightly chalky on the lasting finish. Enjoy with food. Drink now through 2020.ST9191 pts. - Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar - Nov/Dec 2006 Pale, orange-tinged pink. Vibrant, spicy aromas of orange peel, ruby-red grapefruit and floral honey. Focused and pure, with juicy orange and tangy rhubarb flavors and a lush, velvety texture. This is weightier than previous bottlings of this cuvee, but has the usual precision and lift expected by long-time fans of this rose. Finishes with juicy citrus flavors and a late mineral jolt.RP9090 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 1st Dec 2010 The NV Brut Rosé emerges from the glass with the essence of freshly cut flowers, berries and minerals in a mid-weight, gracious style. It shows gorgeous inner perfume, along with persistent notes of chalkiness that frame the long, sublime finish. Year in, year out, this estate’s NV Brut Rosé is one of the most consistently outstanding wines in the region.
RP9797 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 7th Dec 2018 Created in 1964 as a tribute to the house’s founder, the youngest release is the 2006 Millésime Brut Cuvée Nicolas François, a blend of 60% Pinot Noir from premier and grand crus from the Montagne de Reims and the Grande Vallée de la Marne and 40% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs. Almost entirely fermented in stainless steel (only 5% was vinified in oak barrels) and aged for 11 years on the lees, this is a beautifully ripe and rich yet pure Champagne with ripe fruit flavors intermixed with chalky notes and brioche/nougat flavors. The palate is intense and concentrated in its rich fruit and substantial depth but also tight, highly elegant and perfectly balanced. The typical finesse of Billecart-Salmon is palatable as well as amazingly pure, with the persistent structure of a great Champagne. The 2006 already drinks dangerously well, but there is no need to hurry, this will go a long way. My sample is from lot L 193A815 45578 that was disgorged in April 2018. Tasted in November 2018.JS9696 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Sunday, January 7, 2018 A rounded vintage, with very attractive white peach, apricot and nectarine fruits as well as lemon and yellow grapefruit, dried flowers, orange rind and some clotted cream. The palate has an assertive, sturdy and punchy feel to it. Bright acidity that’s lime sorbet-like. Good length and plenty of fresh stone fruit flavors. Fleshy and lively. Drink this now.WE9595 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/1/2018 Named after the founder of the house, Nicolas François Billecart (who married Elisabeth Salmon), this wine is now at its peak. It is poised between fresh apple fruits and broader, riper maturity. This balance gives a ripe wine hinting at toast and almonds while still with a dry aftertaste. Drink now, although in 2019 it will be even better.
