"Glimmering red. Spice-accented red fruit and rose oil on the nose, along with notes of white pepper, allspice and musky earth. Juicy and focused in the mouth, offering bitter cherry and red berry flavors with a touch of medicinal bitterness. Turns sweeter with air and shows very good energy on the persistent finish, which is firmed by dusty, fine-grained tannins that fold smoothly into the wine’s fruit." (90 pts.)
