"The 2021 Rosé (colloquially known as the Estate Rosé, although "Estate" is not on the label) is a blend of 53% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc, and 13% Chardonnay, plus Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir equally dividing the rest. It is near bone dry and comes in at 12.8% alcohol. This report shows a lot of erratic performances in pinks in the difficult 2021 vintage, but the stalwarts are basically getting it right. This is another fine performance in the “basic” Rosé this year, not missing a beat. It has elegance, persistence, good concentration, fine flavor and touch of complexity from the kitchen-sink blend. Under screw cap, this should also hold for a few years, but that’s not exactly the point here. As top pinks go, this is also very reasonably priced. Bargain hunters take note. This is never my favorite of the winery’s endless number of pinks, but it is arguably the best intersection of quality and price. For those who appreciate elegance, it is also one of the more understated. There were 31,500 cases produced." (88 pts.)
