  1. Borgo Magredo Prosecco Extra Dry

    NV / 750 ml. | Item#58554

    VN8989 pts. - Vinous - Dec 2020
The NV Prosecco Extra Dry is understated with a dusty display of white flowers, chamomile, crushed stone and pear. It’s pleasantly sweet and creamy, contrasted by brisk acids with notes of ripe apple and hints of spice. Floral nuances linger long through the perfectly fresh finale. (Eric Guido)

    2020 / 750 ml. | Item#58071

    JS90+90–91 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Thursday, June 2, 2022
A nicely polished and relatively soft red with ripe tannins and purple fruit. It’s medium-bodied. Fresh at the end. Nicely done.
    JD87+87–89 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 6/4/2021
The 2020 Château Talmont is another solid Bordeaux offering medium to full-bodied richness as well as impressive cassis and black raspberry fruits intermixed with hints of flowers, violets, and graphite. It has some grippy tannins, but I like the overall balance as well as the length on the finish. (Jeb Dunnuck)
    VN86+86–88 pts. - Vinous - Jun 2021
The 2020 Talmont offers good up-front intensity in its jammy dark fruit, chocolate and dried herbs. There is good depth and persistence, but hard tannins and slight vegetal undertones are a bit distracting today. (Antonio Galloni)

Vivid ruby-red. Aromas of ripe red and dark berries, spicecake and candied flowers are complemented by a smoky mineral nuance that builds in the glass. Sappy black raspberry and cherry flavors show good depth as well as energy. Silky and appealingly sweet, finishing with sharp focus and smooth tannins that fold into the wine’s juicy fruit. Raised in stainless steel and concrete tanks. (Josh Raynolds)

Brilliant magenta. Smoke-tinged dark berries, cracked pepper and a hint of gaminess on the pungent nose. Chewy and tightly focused on the palate, offering bitter cherry and boysenberry flavors that unfurl and become sweeter on the back half. Lingers with very good persistence on the finish, which features silky tannins and a strong echo of sweet blue fruit. This wine is ridiculously easy to drink and delivers really great value. The 2022 Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo is a lovely dark pink color in the glass. Wild strawberry and rose aromas form its bouquet. This is silky-smooth with a pretty inner sweetness and crisp cherry-berry fruits. It finishes relatively fresh yet a little short, leaving a lingering hint of licorice. (Eric Guido)

Deep, bright-hued red. Red fruit liqueur, candied flowers and white pepper on the fragrant nose. Sappy, smooth and fruit-driven, offering cherry and Chambord flavors braced by a core of juicy acidity. Shows gentle spiciness on the clinging, red-fruit-dominated finish, which is shaped by subtle, harmonious tannins. This wine is ridiculously easy to drink.
