  1. I Veroni Vin Santo del Chianti Rùfina

    Occhio di Pernice
    2016 / 375 ml. | Item#57792

    JS9595 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Thursday, November 4, 2021
Super sticky here, giving you all you ask for in a quality Vin Santo. Toffee, dried fruit and nutty notes on the nose. Full, viscous feel on the palate with a twist of citrus that turns to salt on the finish. Long and delicious! Nicely done. Enjoy now or hold for as long as you like.
    WE9191 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 5/1/2022
Made with dried Sangiovese (80%), Trebbiano (10%) and Malvasia Toscana (10%), this opens with aromas of candied orange zest, maple syrup and dried fig. The concentrated, smooth palate offers eucalyptus, honey, black cherry jam and toasted almond that carry on to the long finish.

    SP9393 pts. - Wine Spectator - Dec 15, 2021
A deeply hued, golden sweetie that’s beautifully fragrant, with mouth-coating flavors of glazed apricot, candied ginger and salted caramel layered upon aromas of ground cardamom, orange blossom, incense and myrrh. Lightly mouthwatering and harmonious throughout, with a lasting, spiced finish. Drink now through 2028. 350 cases imported.

  8. Dutschke The Muscat

    NV / 375 ml. | Item#27594

    RP9191 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 27th Feb 2013
Pale brown in color and made from Muscat Petite Grain grapes, the NV The Muscat has a really grapey and raisin nose underscored by spices and a touch of roses. Very sweet in the mouth it retains crisp acid to lift the concentrated, liquid raisin flavors. Nicely balanced, it finishes long. Drink it now.
    SP9090 pts. - Wine Spectator - Dec 31, 2005
Sweet, dense and spicy, with toffee, molasses and prune flavors that linger on the rich finish. Drink now.

  10. Hermann J. Wiemer Late Harvest Riesling

    2021 / 750 ml. | Item#56583

    RP9090 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 20th Apr 2023
The 2021 Riesling Late Harvest comes in with 47 grams of residual sugar and 9% alcohol. Sugar becomes the keynote here, but this is hardly all that sweet. It’s just young and lush. The sugar on the finish makes the overall presentation a bit nicer, perhaps, than on the other wines in the lineup since it covers up any missing expression of fruit in this rainy vintage. The price is nice too, but you will have to like that sugary edge. There’s not a lot of intensity, but this still has a shot at holding pretty well. If I had a quibble, it did seem to get a little funky in aromatics as it aired out. It still showed well overall, though, so let’s lean up for the moment. There were 1,099 cases produced. 13. Royal Tokaji Late Harvest

    2018 / 500 ml. | Item#57256

    WE9292 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 4/1/2022
This amber-colored late-harvest wine from Tokaj has aromas of honeycomb and white flowers, especially jasmine and freesia. In the mouth, it has nice fruit sweetness and flavors of clover honey, ripe apricot and yellow peach.
    WS9090 pts. - Wine & Spirits - 12/21
This is a charming, easy-going dessert wine, light and honeyed, with sweet, floral notes of litchi and peach. It’s balanced by a slight bitterness that suggests this would pair well with savory food; or serve it chilled as an aperitif.
