SP8787 pts. - Wine Spectator - Dec 31, 2011 This shows more finesse than many of its peers, displaying a subtle juiciness, joined by aromatic apricot, quince, mandarin orange and almond notes. Finely meshed with a lightly spiced finish. Drink now.RP8686 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 1st May 2011 The lineup begins with the Non-Vintage Cordon Negro made from the three traditional grape varieties of the Cava DO (Xarel-lo, Macabeu, and Parellada) with the emphasis on the latter for this bottling. It is made in a tasty, friendly style with a dosage of 9 grams making it just off-dry on the palate. It is a cleanly made sparkling wine that can be found in discount stores at well under the suggested retail price.WS8686 pts. - Wine & Spirits - August 1, 2014 Bold and juicy passion fruit scents combine with the flinty, rubber-meets-the-road reduction character typical of Cava. This is rich and round, finishing clean. Chill it for grilled calamares and other tapas.WE8585 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/15/2011 Cidery on the nose, with a standard palate and mildly briney flavors of apple and other basic white fruits. Highly regular, with a decent finish. A quaffer or the type of Cava to mix with orange juice.

SP9292 pts. - Wine Spectator - Jun 30, 2019 An expressive rosé, with mouthwatering acidity and a satiny mousse, this offers flavors of ripe nectarine, candied ginger, pomegranate and star anise, underscored by chalky mineral notes. Drink now through 2024. 6,000 cases made, 600 cases imported.
SP9191 pts. - Wine Spectator - Nov 15, 2018 A well-cut and lacy Champagne in an elegant, aperitif style, with hints of chalk and graphite underscoring the lively Honeycrisp apple, cherry and lemon curd flavors. Offers a sleek, minerally finish. Drink now through 2021.WE9090 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/1/2013 One of the most familiar of Champagnes, the Yellow Label is finely made — a fruity while structured wine. It has both fresh and fragrant fruit as well as richness, a soft, creamy texture and bright acidity. There is no sense in bottle aging here — drink this wine because of its crispness.WS9090 pts. - Wine & Spirits - December 1, 1997 The quality of this non-vintage blend is impressive, from it integrated Champagne scent to its creamy texture that carries aromas and flavors of green apples, white flowers, and fine minerality. It all comes together in the finish, where the opulent, pillowy texture meets the crispness of the mousse and light acidity.RP8787 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 31st Dec 2008 The NV Brut offers up attractive notes of smoke, tar, rich ripe pears and flowers in a medium to full-bodied style. There is a good measure of persistence, although the wine could use a little more polish on the finish. This is Lot 14009913, disgorged between December, 2007 and January, 2008. Anticipated maturity: 2008–2010.ST8787 pts. - Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar - Nov/Dec 2011 Bright yellow-gold. Poached pear and candied citrus fruits on the nose, which shows notes of spun sugar and toffee. Sweet orchard and pit fruit flavors are slightly cloying and loose-knit, with slow-mounting spiciness. Finishes on a warm note, with decent length and a suggestion of candied orange.
VN9898 pts. - Vinous - Mar 2022 The 2014 La Grande Année is stunning. In fact, it is one of the best recent editions I can remember tasting. What comes through most is the wine’s sizzling energy and tension, qualities that aren’t often associated with Bollinger, where the Champagnes tend to show more breadth and volume. In 2014, readers will find a Grande Année built on linear intensity and drive.SP9797 pts. - Wine Spectator - Jun 30, 2022 Racy acidity drives this mouthwatering Champagne, enlivening the rich panoply of flavors. Features a fine and creamy mousse that’s still a lively springboard for aromas and flavors of crème de cassis, glazed tangerine, roasted hazelnut, ground coffee, pickled ginger and white blossoms. Long and satiny, with minerally salt and chalk notes gaining momentum on the lasting finish. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Disgorged July 2021. Drink now through 2037. 1,500 cases imported.RP9595 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 7th Mar 2022 Offering up complex aromas of crisp yellow orchard fruit, confit citrus, frangipane, walnuts, dried white flowers and subtle hints of iodine, Bollinger’s 2014 Brut La Grande Année is medium to full-bodied, pillowy and vinous, with an elegantly fleshy core of fruit that’s underpinned by racy acids and complemented by a pretty pinpoint mousse. Concluding with a long, chalky finish, this is a charming but precise Grande Année that’s more giving and demonstrative than its immediate predecessor, the 2012, but which attains a very similar level of quality in a more challenging vintage — testimony to the serious viticulture that underpins Bollinger’s contemporary excellence.
WS8787 pts. - Wine & Spirits - August 1, 2003 A simple line of sweet, honeyed lime fruit kept taut by a limestone austerity, this is a clean, light sparkler for aperitifs.SP8686 pts. - Wine Spectator - Nov 30, 2011 Light-bodied and floral, this Prosecco displays hints of honeysuckle, apricot, mandarin orange and spice. Lightly juicy and frizzante, with a lingering finish. Drink now. 75,000 cases imported.WE8686 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 10/29/2004 Fresh and clean, with aromas of slate, citrus and green herbs. The palate delivers lemon-lime flavors and a modest bubble bead that doesn’t overwhelm. And when folks say packaging means nothing, ignore them. This one comes in a cool bowling-pin shaped bottle that’s capped like a beer. The tagline on the label points out that Prosecco is the “gentle” sparkling wine. Yeah, gentle on your wallet.
WS9393 pts. - Wine & Spirits - 12/21 This is a powerful Rosé, built with the addition of 13 percent red wine (pinot noir from Bouzy) and 11 percent of the blend aged in oak foudres. It starts off youthfully intense, with a smoky black-tea edge to the tannins. The wine is structured and savory, freighted with limestone earthiness until it grows bright and racy with air. This is built to last.SP9292 pts. - Wine Spectator - Dec 15, 2020 A crowd-pleaser for its fine balance and integration, offering a mouthwatering mix of wild strawberry and peach fruit, biscuit and salted almond flavors. Hints of anise, pink grapefruit zest and honey show on the creamy finish. Disgorged January 2019. Drink now through 2027.WE9292 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/1/2020 An attractive pale rosé color heralds a crisp, dry style of Champagne, ripe and now mature. Along with the structure and minerality that give the wine its shape and further potential, there is a hint of the toastiness to come. Drink the wine now, or even better, wait until 2021.
VN9292 pts. - Vinous - Dec 2017 The NV Brut is a gorgeous entry-level offering. The flavors are brisk and finely cut in this chiseled, crystalline Champagne from the Aubry brothers. Pear, green apple, lemon oil and white flowers add to an overall impression of brightness and tension. Aubry’s straight NV Brut is once again one of the very finest wines in its peer group. I rarely miss a chance to drink it. The current release is a blend of 50% 2014 and 50% reserve wines, with a bit more Meunier in the blend than is the norm. Disgorged: June 2017. Dosage is 6 grams per liter.SP9090 pts. - Wine Spectator - Nov 30, 2017 A firm, clean-cut Champagne, with a satinlike mousse that carries finely meshed notes of apple blossom, anise, poached pear and fleur de sel. A hint of almond shows on the finish. Disgorged January 2016. Drink now through 2019. 1,200 cases imported.ST8888 pts. - Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar - Nov/Dec 2005 Very pale copper. Smoky, nutty and deep on the nose, with scents of ripe apple, toffee and tarragon. Deep, earthy and rich (this features 60% meunier and 20% pinot noir) but lively on the palate, the apple and sweet toffee notes repeating. Long, full and nicely hefty on the finish.WS8888 pts. - Wine & Spirits - December 1, 2007 Scents of hazelnuts and almonds carry the toasty savor of this wine, knit into a broad richness that feels sweet in the middle, dry in the end. It’s soft and simple. For nut-crusted salmon.
WE9494 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 10/1/2021 The effects of a cool year on this new vintage release is impressive in its texture, acidity and serious aging potential. Crisp apple and white-fruit flavors come together with a tight structure and a pure line of freshness. Drink from 2023.RP9393 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 31st Mar 2021 Disgorged with five grams per liter dosage, Moët’s 2013 Extra Brut Grand Vintage is a real success, wafting from the glass with aromas of pear, fresh bread, Meyer lemon, nougat and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, chiseled and fine-boned, with an enveloping core of bright, vibrant fruit and a pretty pinpoint mousse, it concludes with a precise, penetrating finish. Incisive but not austere, it’s an impressive effort, reflecting good levels of maturity in this cool, late harvest. It’s as fine a rendition of this cuvée as I can remember tasting.SP9393 pts. - Wine Spectator - Nov 30, 2021 This elegant Champagne displays citrus, mineral and toast character in equal measure, with bright notes of preserved lemon and verbena layered with smoke, chalk, brioche and nut flavors. The interplay is backed by deftly knit acidity, riding the fine and creamy mousse through to the lingering finish. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Disgorged May 2019. Drink now through 2030.JS9393 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Tuesday, April 6, 2021 A creamy-textured Champagne with fine bubbles that are numerous and textural. It’s full-bodied and rounded with lovely bread dough and cooked apple, as well as just a hint of stone and mineral. It’s long, dry and satisfying at the finish. 41% chardonnay and 38% pinot noir, the rest pinot meunier. Drink now.
SP9090 pts. - Wine Spectator - Nov 30, 2020 A rich and creamy Champagne defined by lively acidity, with anise, pastry cream and salted almond notes, and fruit flavors of baked apricot and lemon curd. Minerally finish. Disgorged December 2019. Drink now through 2023.VN8989 pts. - Vinous - Dec 2019 This release of the Selection des Belles Années, based on 2013, is brisk and expressive, with an alluring combination of energy and richness. In the glass, the Belles Années is a touch compact, but a bit of bottle age should help. Wonderfully persistent and inviting, the Belles Années has so much to offer. This release is 80% 2013 Gastronome, with 20% reserve wines. Dosage is 5.5 grams per liter. Disgorged: July 19, 2018.
SP9797 pts. - Wine Spectator - Dec 15, 2020 Like a stallion out of the gate, this shows an initial explosion of power, in the form of mouthwatering flavors and fine texture, before quickly settling into an elegant gait. The racy acidity is seamlessly knit, buoying the lacy mousse and flavors of cassis, toasted brioche and tangerine, with accents of candied ginger, hazelnut and fleur de sel lingering on the long, creamy finish. Drink now through 2035. 2,000 cases imported. (Alison Napjus)JD9696 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 11/7/2022 The 2008 Champagne Rare is luxurious with aromas of graham cracker, honeysuckle, quince, and orange zest. It is round and opulent, with a fine and pillowy mousse, and retains freshness throughout, with apricot and yellow flowers. It is impressive and long, and fully luxurious. Drinking well now, it is sure to hold its own for years to come. Drink 2022–2044. (Audrey Frick)RP93+93+ pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 31st Aug 2022 The 2008 Brut Cuvée Rare, now re-baptized as “Rare Champagne,” continues to evolve at a glacial pace. Offering up aromas of citrus oil, freshly baked bread and wet stones, it’s medium to full-bodied, taut and incisive, with a tangy spine of acidity and a pretty pinpoint mousse, but much in the way of texture or amplitude has yet to emerge. While I continue to think that this has the makings of a very attractive bottling, continued patience is advised. (William Kelley)
VN97+97+ pts. - Vinous - May 2022 The 2010 Dom Ruinart is truly epic. It’s also an eye-opening wine. And I do mean wine. Because the first impression is really of wine more than Champagne. The 2010 signals a major shift in philosophy, as Dom Ruinart is now aged entirely under cork (rather than crown seal) as it was back in the early 1960s. Lemon peel, white flowers, mint, crushed rocks and white pepper all race across the palate, announcing a Champagne of stature, breed and pure class. All the elements build as the 2010 crescendos into its intensely saline, mineral-drenched finish. The low dosage of 4 grams per liter is perfectly judged. I try to avoid the tired clichés that make comparisons with Burgundy, but it is impossible here. The best way I can describe the 2010 Dom Ruinart is that it tastes like a great Corton-Charlemagne with bubbles. Chef de Caves Frédéric Panaïotis has poured his heart and soul into Ruinart since arriving in 2007. He richly deserves all the accolades he will surely garner for this masterpiece, an achievement that is made all the more notable by the challenges of the growing season. The 2010 Dom Ruinart is unreal. That’s all there is to it. Disgorged: 2020. (Antonio Galloni)SP9595 pts. - Wine Spectator - Dec 15, 2022 A mineral-driven Champagne, creamy and compact, this deftly meshes a layer of smoke, chalk and saline with detailed flavors of glazed apple and apricot, roasted hazelnut and ginger-infused pastry cream carried on a raw silky mousse. The fine texture softens the firm spine of chiseled acidity that structures the wine, and hints of white blossoms, Meyer lemon and oyster shell play on the finish. Disgorged November 2020. Drink now through 2035. (Alison Napjus)WE9595 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/31/2022 This is certainly a mature Champagne. With its ripe character, the dryness has softened to give richness, a beautiful nutty flavor while retaining acidity. A very fine Champagne, it is ready to drink now. (Roger Voss)RP9494 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 31st Aug 2022 The first vintage since the 1960s to see tirage under natural cork in lieu of crown caps, the 2010 Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs was disgorged in November 2021. It’s showing nicely, over-performing for the vintage, displaying aromas of yellow orchard fruit, toasted nuts, spices, smoke, dried white flowers and iodine. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and layered, with impressive concentration and chalky structure, it concludes with a long, saline finish. (William Kelley)JS9494 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Monday, August 8, 2022 Almost like a white, with a smoky and flinty nose. Dried lemons, cedar, smoked almonds, spiced apples, hazelnuts, salted butter and toast. Tangy and sharp, yet creamy and buttery, too, with fine bubbles. Hazelnuts at the end. Disgorged in February 2021. Drink or hold.
SP9393 pts. - Wine Spectator - Nov 30, 2018 This lovely rosé Champagne is harmonious and bright, featuring sleek acidity layered with the lacy mousse and an expressive range of white peach, ripe raspberry and pickled ginger flavors, with hints of smoke and biscuit. Elegant. Drink now through 2023.WS9393 pts. - Wine & Spirits - December 1, 2013 This deep pink rosé starts off from a delicate scent of spice and roses, strawberries and the freshly turned earth of a garden. It grows more powerful and grand with air, building fresh raspberry pinot vinosity, a fragrant essence of limestone and fruit that lasts.WE9090 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 6/1/2017 This soft, finely structured and salmon-hued wine has an explosive mousse. Its attractive strawberry fruit is balanced by rich acidity. Ripe, mouth-filling and softly creamy, it’s ready to drink now and has a rounded aftertaste.RP8989 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 31st Dec 2008 The NV Brut Rosé is made in a similarly elegant and refined style, even though it isn’t quite as expressive as the Blanc de Blancs at the outset. With time in the glass the Pinot qualities come through with greater focus. The NV Rosé offers excellent length and a polished personality in the signature Ruinart style. This is Lot: LAD7ZCA, disgorged July, 2007. Anticipated maturity: 2008–2011.
JS9797 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Wednesday, May 5, 2021 A firm, fresh Comtes with a tight and composed palate. It’s full-bodied with a racy mid-palate. Long and persistent. Very structured with phenolics and acidity. Minerally. Floral, too. Refreshing and energetic. September 2021 release. Drink or hold.SP9393 pts. - Wine Spectator - Jun 30, 2022 A minerally version, with smoke and saline notes deftly meshed with flavors of glazed apple, lemon-infused pastry cream and marzipan. This is fine and softly creamy in texture, with lemony acidity providing good definition through to the lightly toasty finish. Elegant. Drink now through 2030. 2,800 cases imported. (Alison Napjus)
SP9595 pts. - Wine Spectator - Mar 31, 23 This graceful Champagne offers hints of smoke and toasted brioche that transition to patisserie apple and blackberry fruit, candied ginger and mandarin orange peel notes. Seamlessly knit and mouthwatering, with a minerally underpinning and a finely detailed, dotted bead. Lush and creamy on the vibrant, lasting finish. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Drink now through 2035.
