    2021 / 750 ml. | Item#60372

    VN9393 pts. - Vinous - Sep 2022
The 2021 Chablis Au Dessus des Carrières comes from two parcels planted mainly in the seventies. Vibrant again on the nose, this offers enticing scents of yellow plum, flint and subtle petrichor scents that unfurl in the glass. The palate is well balanced with fine depth, perhaps a little more linear than the Vieilles Vignes with a very focused finish. Excellent. Chablis like a Swiss watch! (Neal Martin)

The 2020 Saint-Bris Exogyra Virgula, which was taken from tank, has a light apple blossom bouquet with a lovely lemon thyme scent. The palate is fresh, vibrant and very saline, delivering good density and flavors of green apple mixed with pear toward the finish. Superb. (Neal Martin)

  5. Jean-Marc Brocard Chablis Premier Cru Vau de Vey

    2020 / 750 ml. | Item#59789

    WE9393 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 3/1/2022
Initially reductive notes of scorched earth and smoke in this wine dissipate with aeration, revealing pristine yellow apple and Mirabelle. Edged by a crush of oyster shells and salty mineral tones, this invigorating sip finishes on a whisper of white pepper. The wine is just starting to open now but should drink well through 2030. (Anna Lee C. Iijima)
    VN9292 pts. - Vinous - Sep 2022
The 2020 Chablis Vau de Vey 1er Cru has an attractive bouquet with wild peach, light quince and flinty aromas, quite complex though I would not describe it as “intense”. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, harmonious, quite sappy towards the finish with decent length. Perhaps like the Butteaux, I would have liked a little more tension on the finish, but it should still give 8–10 years’ drinking pleasure. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis. (Neal Martin)

  6. “’O Sole Mio” by Paul Lato

    Two Wolves Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc
    2021 / 750 ml. | Item#58452

    RP9595 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 8th Dec 2022
I can’t get enough of the 2021 Sauvignon Blanc O Sole Mio Two Wolves Vineyard from Paul Lato. It’s reminiscent of a Bordeaux Blanc with the aromatics turned way up: white peaches and kiwi are complemented by tones of acacia, fresh green herbs and beeswax. The medium-bodied palate is satiny and mouth coating with seamless acidity and generous flavor layers. It’s got the bass, mid and treble to drink well on its own or pair with a wide range of dishes at the table. This impressive Sauvignon Blanc was grown by Alecia Moore at Two Wolves in Santa Ynez from fruit planted in 2015. It was matured for eight months in concrete, stainless and neutral oak vessels, and 250 cases were made. (Erin Brooks)
    JD9595 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 8/29/2022
I love Paul’s Sauvignon Blanc, and his 2021 O Sole Mio Sauvignon Blanc Two Wolves Vineyard is a winner, offering a clean, crisp bouquet of white grapefruit, crushed citrus, white flowers, and honeyed minerality. Beautifully balanced, medium-bodied, and textured, with bright, vibrant acidity, it’s a brilliant effort that will be about as versatile as they come on the dinner table. I would drink bottles over the coming couple of years while the fruit is vibrant and fresh, yet I certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see this have an interesting evolution over the coming decade. (Jeb Dunnuck)
    VN9292 pts. - Vinous - Aug 2022
The 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Wolves Vineyard O Sole Mio Two is quite dense and powerful. Lemon confit, dried flower, chamomile and spice are dialed up. Readers will find a serious Sauvignon Blanc that will drink best at the dinner table. Vinification and aging in concrete, where the lees remain in suspension, give the wine much of its textural depth. (Antonio Galloni)

  7. Goisot Bourgogne Aligoté

    2021 / 750 ml. | Item#59602

    VN87+87–89 pts. - Vinous - Aug 2022
The 2021 Bourgogne Aligoté is raised entirely in stainless-steel. It has a perfumed bouquet with pressed white flowers commingling with linden and orange pith aromas. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh with a linear finish that maybe just needs a bit more density and texture. Still, this has plenty of vitality and tension. 8. Château Carbonnieux Blanc

    Grand Cru Classé de Graves
    2020 / 750 ml. | Item#58687

    WE93+93–95 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 1/1/2022
Barrel Sample. Crisp and tight with fine citrus flavors, the wine is beautifully proportioned with textured, zesty acidity. It shows balance between its structure and its fruits that will only get better as it matures. (Roger Voss)
    JS93+93–94 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Thursday, May 27, 2021
An excellent white Carbonnieux with sliced-lemon, lime and mineral character, as well as hints of citrus seeds. It’s medium-to full-bodied with lots of bright acidity and a flavorful finish. Minerally at the end.
    SP9292 pts. - Wine Spectator - Web only – 2023
Fresh and breezy, with a fleur de sel edge that adds nice energy to the core of gooseberry, white peach and lemon gelée. Presents a pretty quinine echo through the finish. Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. Drink now through 2026. 15,000 cases made, 3,500 cases imported. (James Molesworth)
    VN90+90–92 pts. - Vinous - Jun 2021
The 2020 Carbonnieux Blanc is a very pretty wine. Bright Sauvignon Blanc notes give the 2020 its distinctive aromatic signatures, while the Sémillon adds just enough mid-palate creaminess to hold it all together. Lemon confit, white flowers, sage, mint and tomato leaf linger nicely. (Antonio Galloni)

  9. Beringer Private Reserve Chardonnay

    2020 / 750 ml. | Item#58805

    RP9393 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 31st May 2022
Although not labeled as such, Beringer’s Private Reserve Chardonnay has been sourced for decades from the Gamble Ranch in Oakville. Planted around 1976 to Clone 4, the grapes are picked ripe and barrel fermented at relatively warm temperatures to build mouthfeel. The 2020 Chardonnay Private Reserve (along with all the other white varieties) was picked prior to any risk of smoke taint. Marked by scents of mango, guava and pineapple, it doesn’t come across as that oaky, despite being barrel fermented and aged in approximately 80% new French oak. It’s full-bodied and slightly buttery, with an appealing custardy richness and a long finish. (Joe Czerwinski)
    SP9292 pts. - Wine Spectator - Jul 31, 2022
Peach, apricot and mango flavors are juicy and fleshy at the core of this white, with honeyed overtones. Salted butter, spice and toasted pastry notes emerge on the finish, as does a touch of dried ginger. Drink now. 8,714 cases made. (MaryAnn Worobiec)
    VN9191 pts. - Vinous - Jan 2022
The 2020 Chardonnay Private Reserve is creamy, open-knit and expressive. Lemon confit, spice, vanillin and light tropical notes all grace the 2020. As always, the Private Reserve is done in a richer, creamier style than the Luminus Chardonnay. That approach worked well in 2020. (Antonio Galloni)

  10. Eisacktal Valle Isarco Pinot Grigio

    2021 / 750 ml. | Item#57839

    VN9090 pts. - Vinous - Jun 2022
So clean and so crisp, the 2021 Pinot Grigio lifts up with notes of freshly sliced yellow apple, hints of lime zest and gingery spice. This is supple, with a balanced sweetness contrasted by zesty notes of lime and tart orchard fruit. It leaves a buzzing of residual acids that keeps the mouth watering while tapering off with medium length. This tension-filled Pinot Grigio is a total pleasure to taste.

  11. Jean-Marc Brocard Chablis Saint Claire

    2021 / 750 ml. | Item#59862

    VN9090 pts. - Vinous - Sep 2022
The 2021 Chablis Sainte Claire was showing a little too much SO2 on the nose, although there seems to be decent fruit tucked behind. The palate is well balanced with a fine line of acidity, quite tensile and steely with a precise finish that deserves a round of applause. This is well-crafted. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis. (Neal Martin)

  12. Famille Vincent Pouilly-Fuissé Marie-Antoinette

    2020 / 750 ml. | Item#59134

    VN8888 pts. - Vinous - Aug 2022
The 2020 Pouilly-Fuissé Marie-Antoinette comes mostly from Vergisson parcels on southerly-exposed vines, matured in stainless-steel on the fine lees for 12 months. It has a taut, minimal, steely bouquet that offers discrete saline/smoky scents. The palate is well balanced with grapefruit and touches of orange rind. Quite sapid with tropical hints towards the finish, though it is never an opulent Pouilly-Fuissé. It just expresses the warmth of the vintage. (Neal Martin)

    2021 / 750 ml. | Item#59129

    VN89+89–91 pts. - Vinous - Sep 2022
The 2021 Chablis Village was picked as low as 20hl/ha in some parcels that were severely affected by frost. Nevertheless, it has a fresh and vibrant bouquet with fine mineralité and vivacity. “Classic Chablis” as Didier Picq tells me with what I am sure is a grin. The palate is fresh and taut, a fine saline undercurrent with a sharp and quite harmonious finish. You don’t find Chablis-Village much better than this in 2021. (Neal Martin)

  14. Thorne & Daughters Rocking Horse

    Cape White Blend
    2020 / 750 ml. | Item#60015

    VN9696 pts. - Vinous - Nov 2021
The 2020 Rocking Horse is a blend of 35% Sémillon, 28% Roussanne, 16% Chardonnay, 15% Chenin Blanc and 6% Clairette Blanche, whole-bunch-pressed and matured in used oak. It has a well-defined, flor-like bouquet offering brioche, grilled walnut, bales of straw and smoke. The fabulous palate presents a sensual honeyed texture effortlessly counterbalanced by acidity. Very harmonious, revealing dried honey, walnut and ginger on the finish. This is a masterclass in winemaking and it will age brilliantly in bottle… if you can resist pulling that cork. (Neal Martin)

  15. Chateau Ste. Michelle Dry Riesling

    2021 / 750 ml. | Item#35285

    WE9090 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 9/1/2022
This wine is consistently one of the best values in the world, and the latest vintage does not disappoint. The aromas enchant, with notes of Nestea Lemon Iced Tea, peach, citrus, lime leaf and honeysuckle. Dry, straight-down-the fairway lime and other citrus flavors follow. The balance is impressive. (Sean P. Sullivan)
    WS8888 pts. - Wine & Spirits - 10/22
Ste. Michelle’s Dry Riesling is a benchmark for the category, lean with scents of lemon and a hint of peach, flavors that are juicy and light, with refreshing acidity for an afternoon sip.
