The crisp, refreshing taste of Sauvignon Blanc wine is the perfect cure for a hot summer's day or a wonderful addition to any special occasion. Armed with an oftentimes herbaceous aroma and mouth-puckering acidity, Sauvignon Blanc wines are distinctly different than the other white wines on the market.
Depending on your fancy, the best Sauvignon Blancs are likely to be found either in New Zealand, California, the Loire Valley, or Bordeaux. Each region offers up it's own unique take on Sauvignon Blanc, all of them flavorful and remarkable in their own way. Enjoy your Sauvignon Blanc wine with lighter fare, like fish or fresh salads.
We have a fantastic collection of the world's best Sauvignon Blanc wines, right here at WineMadeEasy.com

(James Suckling)WE8989 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/31/2022 On the fruitier edge of the Marlborough Sauvignon pendulum, this opens with fleshy peach, lime and tropical-fruit aromas, underpinned by just a whiff of green bell pepper. The palate prickles and pops with limey freshness right through to the finish. Refreshing, easy drinking and unmistakably Marlborough Savvy B. (Christina Pickard)

SP9393 pts. - Wine Spectator - Web only – 2023 Aromatic, with terrific precision to the herbal details of white pepper, grapefruit, lemongrass and fresh-grated ginger. Packs a core of mouthwatering Meyer lemon, ruby grapefruit and green apple flavors showing a thread of savory salinity, with an intense, fresh finish. Drink now. 100,000 cases made, 70,000 cases imported. (MaryAnn Worobiec)WE8989 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/31/2022 Give this some aeration in glass for the attractive aromas of lime and grapefruit citrus, and white peach to float to the fore. There’s a soft green-herbal underbelly. The palate is crisp and slippery, those citrus notes on display until the finish. Still young at the time of tasting (Sept. ’22), this should find even more expression with another six months to a year in bottle. (Christina Pickard)

WE9393 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/31/2022 Always experimenting, Erica and Kim Crawford (yes, that Kim Crawford, although he sold the famous winery with his namesake years ago) have used green-tea tannin extract in place of sulfur as an antimicrobial and preservative. It completely changes this famous wine style. Medium gold in color, it smells like honeycomb, pineapple turnover cake, lemon verbena, wild herbs and, yes, green tea. The palate is fresher than the nose and color imply. It’s dry with a gentle texture and lovely juiciness. Zesty fruit, ginger and a slight bite of tannin at the finish make for a characterful and highly food-friendly wine, more in the vein of a Chardonnay than a traditional Marlborough Sauvignon. (Christina Pickard)SP9090 pts. - Wine Spectator - May 31, 2023 Distinctive and aromatic, with floral details and touches of orange water, dried pineapple, peach cobbler, honeycomb and toasted herbs. Reveals serious freshness and verve from the crisp acidity on a supple frame, with lingering accents of candied ginger and nutty rooibos tea. Drink now. 2,000 cases imported. (MaryAnn Worobiec)
