Blush wine, also known as rosé wine, is one of the best-selling types of wine in the world. Usually ranging in color from pale pink to a beautiful vibrant cherry, the best rosé wines are world-class quality from top European producers. French blush wines and Spanish rosé wines are perfect chilled on the patio, or they can be mixed into a holiday punch or Sangria. The best part is that blush wines tend to be priced at a bargain! Because there are many different types of blush wine, from dry to very sweet, it is the perfect selection for large parties or dinners. WineMadeEasy.com carries an extensive selection of blush wine brands, such as dry French rosés, medium-bodied Spanish blush wines, and sweet Italian dessert wines.

VN9191 pts. - Vinous - Jul 2022 Bright, onion-skin color. Fresh and incisive on the nose, displaying red berry, citrus fruit and floral qualities and subtle mineral and spice flourishes. Juicy and sharply focused, putting forward lithe strawberry, blood orange and honeysuckle flavors that deepen through the back half. Finishes long and silky, with the red fruit and floral notes lingering. (Josh Raynolds)WE8989 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 8/1/2022 Bright with ripe fruit, this is a juicy wine that exudes red berry flavors. VN9292 pts. - Vinous - Jul 2022 Light, vivid orange. Mineral-accented citrus pith, red berry and succulent floral and herb scents, along with a spicy topnote. Chewy and sharply focused in the mouth, offering well-concentrated strawberry, bitter cherry, blood orange, honeysuckle and smoky mineral qualities and a deeper suggestion of nectarine. Densely packed, with the mineral and floral notes carrying through a long, precise finish. (Josh Raynolds)SP9292 pts. - Wine Spectator - Web only – 2022 A gorgeous, complex rosé, rippling with flavors of cherry, blood orange, spice, potpourri and currant. Ripe, densely packed and creamy, this stays elegant, with impressive harmony and a lovely salted almond note on the long finish. Mourvèdre and Cinsault. Drink now through 2025. 1,500 cases made, 400 cases imported. (Bruce Sanderson)
VN9393 pts. - Vinous - Jul 2022 Limpid orange. A sharply focused, mineral-accented bouquet evokes fresh red berries and pit fruits, citrus pith and pungent flowers. Silky and penetrating on the palate, offering tangy redcurrant, pomegranate and blood orange flavors and a hint of honeysuckle. The floral note builds steadily through an impressively long, nervy finish that echoes the citrus and mineral notes. (Josh Raynolds)RP9191 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 11th Aug 2022 Call it a down year if you must, but the 2021 Cotes de Provence Rose Chateau de Selle remains one of the region’s top wines. Scents of tangerine, peach, crushed stone and lime zest mark the nose, while the medium-bodied palate is plump and juicy, finishing long and layered. The assemblage this year is 55% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, 10% Mourvèdre and 5% Syrah. (Joe Czerwinski)
Pink Wine of the Earth 2021 / 750 ml. | Item#57921
WE9090 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 10/1/2022 Crisp aromas of melon, peach and rose petal are doused in an engaging tinge of fresh lime on the nose of this bottling. The palate is very approachable with ripe peach and melon flavors that aren’t shy. (Matt Kettmann)
RP8888 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 12th May 2022 The 2021 Rosé (colloquially known as the Estate Rosé, although "Estate" is not on the label) is a blend of 53% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc, and 13% Chardonnay, plus Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir equally dividing the rest. It is near bone dry and comes in at 12.8% alcohol. This report shows a lot of erratic performances in pinks in the difficult 2021 vintage, but the stalwarts are basically getting it right. This is another fine performance in the “basic” Rosé this year, not missing a beat. It has elegance, persistence, good concentration, fine flavor and touch of complexity from the kitchen-sink blend. Under screw cap, this should also hold for a few years, but that’s not exactly the point here. As top pinks go, this is also very reasonably priced. Bargain hunters take note. This is never my favorite of the winery’s endless number of pinks, but it is arguably the best intersection of quality and price. For those who appreciate elegance, it is also one of the more understated. There were 31,500 cases produced.
