RP9090 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 18th May 2023 The coppery-hued 2022 Les Cassagnes de la Nerthe Cotes du Rhone Rose features easygoing notes of ripe melon, plus hints of peaches and red berries. Medium-bodied, it’s plump and nicely rounded without being overly broad, remaining clean, refreshing and harmonious on the finish. (Joe Czerwinski)
RP9090 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 8th Jun 2023 A blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle and Syrah, sourced from vines planted on clay-limestone soils, the 2022 Cotes de Provence Rose reveals aromas of red berries, spices, peach, watermelon, spring flowers and pomegranate. Medium-bodied and elegantly oaky with a spicy touch, it’s fresh and fruity with a mouthwatering, elegant finish. This rosé benefits from the expertise of the Perrin family. (Yohan Castaing)
RP9090 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 8th Jun 2023 A blend of 41% Grenache, 31% Cinsault, 12% Mourvèdre, 8% Tibouren, 5% Syrah and 3% Carignan, the 2022 Cotes de Provence Rose Lampe de Meduse possesses a fresh, fruit-driven bouquet with aromas of citrus, lemon oil, red berries, wild strawberry and menthol. Crunchy, juicy and perfectly balanced with a medium-bodied palate, it’s long and penetrating with lively acids, an iodine-salty finish and a clean and mouthwatering texture. (Yohan Castaing)
RP8989 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 30th Nov 2022 The white blanc de noirs 2022 Reserve White Malbec was produced with red grapes, a new category and dimension of Malbec vinified as white. Made with grapes from Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco, this fermented in stainless steel and was bottled unoaked. The wine has only 10.5% alcohol, with notable acidity and freshness and a touch of residual sugar (three grams). I don’t think I’ve seen a paler white; it’s really transparent, light, fresh, vibrant and easy to drink. It has notes of green apples and fresh yellow berries with a nose that makes me think of sake! A surprising new product. 1.3 million bottles produced. They bottle through the year from a master blend. (Luis Gutiérrez)JS8989 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Tuesday, April 4, 2023 This white malbec does have a white color. Neutral, estery nose with nectarines, green plums and fermented rice. Almost a bit Sake-like. High malic acidity here with a subtle and concise finish. A little tart at the end. Screw cap. (Zekun Shuai)
RP9292 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 18th May 2023 From an encépagement of 60% Grenache, 18% Cinsault, 12% Clairette and 5% each Mourvèdre and Syrah, Trinquevedel’s 2022 Tavel offers aromas that hint at burnt rubber (decanting will help this), followed by raspberries, peaches and citrus. It’s full-bodied and generous on the palate, with a ripe, silky feel and a lingering finish, so there’s plenty to like here. Just remember to decant. (Joe Czerwinski)
