Shop Our Selection of Napa Valley Wines

Napa Valley wines are without question the most famous and important wines from the United States, even though the Napa Valley wine region is actually one of the smallest in the world. Some of the most iconic and recognizable Napa Valley Wineries include Beaulieu Vineyards, Beringer, Cliff Lede, Dominus, Hess, Robert Mondavi Winery, Opus One, and Sterling.

While Napa Valley itself is an appellation there are also sixteen sub-appellations or American Viticultural Areas (AVAs). The climate and terrain of these sub-appellations — including Los Carneros, St. Helena, Stags Leap District, and others — are actually quite diverse, ranging from rugged mountains to cooler coastal influences, and many nuances in-between.

Most Napa wine is made with premium varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Zinfandel

  1. Harris Estate Vineyards Casey’s Lakeview Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

    2013 / 750 ml. | Item#43584

    RP9595 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 30th Dec 2015
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Casey’s Lakeview is similarly inky bluish/purple to the rim. Tasting like blood, this wine is dense and rich with lots of chocolate, espresso, earth and spice. It is deep, full-bodied, and again, a masculine style of wine that needs at least 4–5 years of cellaring and should keep for 25 or more years.
    VN9494 pts. - Vinous - Oct 2015
Darker tonalities of fruit along with distinctly savory undertones are two of the signatures in the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Casey’s Lakeview Vineyard. Rich, ample and powerful, the Casey’s Lakeview offers notable richness to fill out its broad-shouldered frame. Hints of lavender and mint add nuance in a virile Cabernet Sauvignon that needs at least a few years to fully come together.

  2. Ramey Pedregal Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

    2013 / 750 ml. | Item#44268

    RP9595 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 1st Mar 2016
From Oakville, the 2013 Pedregal Vineyard is usually the top Cabernet Sauvignon. A classic nose of cedar wood, forest floor, blackcurrants and loamy earth notes is followed by a wine of stunning intensity, full-bodied potency, beautiful purity and length. There is plenty of tannin, but the extravagant richness seems to cover it up extremely well.
    VN9595 pts. - Vinous - Mar 2017
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Pedregal Vineyard has turned out beautifully. It is also much more accessible young than I expected, despite its considerable size. Bright red stone fruit and pomegranate notes are pushed forward. There is plenty of tannin, but it is nearly buried by the sheer intensity of the fruit. There is plenty of stuffing and potential here.
    WE9595 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 3/1/2017
This wine was co-fermented with 15% Petit Verdot from the same rocky, hillside site. The two varieties marry seamlessly in the glass, exuding a distinct perfume of forest mushroom and violet. Though pronounced in structure the wine is also soft and round, with a dotting of dried herb and a considerable length of clove and dust. It’s rich, intense and memorable.
    SP9494 pts. - Wine Spectator - Oct 31, 2016
Shows impressive richness, size and grace. For all the depth and intensity, this features a supple, caressing element to the tannins, letting the earth, dried herb and dark berry flavors flow easily. The tannins linger in the background and then finish with a burst of licorice, spice, mocha and oak details. Best from 2019 through 2032. 615 cases made.

  3. David Arthur Three Acre

    Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
    2013 / 750 ml. | Item#43581

    RP9595 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 30th Dec 2015
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Acre shows beautiful sweet crème de cassis, spring flowers and blacker berry fruit. It has an intriguing wild mountain berry note. Full-bodied, rich, concentrated, opulent and sexy, this is the wine to drink now and over the next 15–20 years.
    VN9292 pts. - Vinous - Oct 2015
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Three Acre has turned out beautifully. Plump, juicy and deeply expressive, the 2013 is quite expressive this year, especially within the context of the vintage. Dark red cherry, plum, spice, new leather and licorice meld together in a supple, creamy Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next decade or so. Dollops of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc round out the blend.

  4. Relic Artefact Cabernet Sauvignon

    2013 / 750 ml. | Item#47280

    RP9494 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 30th Dec 2015
The blockbuster 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2013 Artefact was aged 21 months in 100% new French oak and comes completely from the Kenefick Ranch, which is adjacent to the Eisele Vineyard in Calistoga. Opaque purple and full-bodied, it offers up notes of pen ink, graphite, blackberry and cassis as well as some background toasty oak, baking spice box, licorice, and some loamy soil undertones. This big, rich, intense wine should hit its prime in about 4–5 years and last 20 or more. Another long-aging wine, and one with probably 50 years of evolution ahead of it.
    VN9292 pts. - Vinous - Feb 2016
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Artefact is a bold, punchy wine that captures the radiance and intensity of Kenefick Ranch without falling into the trap of being excessively heavy, which is always an issue with this warm site in Calistoga. Iron, smoke, plum, cedar and leather build into the intense finish. This is a fairly approachable wine that can be enjoyed with minimal cellaring.

  5. Sloan

    Napa Valley Red Wine
    2013 / 750 ml. | Item#47434

    RP98+98+ pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 30th Dec 2016
The 2013 Proprietary Red Sloan is from the same 13 acres of estate vineyard. Typical of the vintage, it is spectacular, inky purple and massive, with unbelievably ripe fruit and a vibrancy and delineation that is breathtaking — given the richness and massiveness of this wine that is a true long-term prospect. It needs 5–6 years of further bottle age and should easily last 30–35 years. The notes of black truffle, charcoal, incense, blackberry and cassis fruit are followed by a full-bodied, stunningly proportioned wine that is loaded, incredibly pure and well-delineated. It is a killer effort from Sloan and probably capable of matching their great efforts in 2001, 2002 and 2007.
    VN97+97+ pts. - Vinous - Dec 2016
A huge, backward wine, the 2013 Sloan is deep, powerful and explosive, with huge dark fruit and tons of torrefaction, licorice and menthol notes that add gravitas. Readers will have to be patient with the 2013. All the pedigree of this great vintage is evident, but the tannins need time to soften. At times, the 2013 reminds me of the 2001.
